Just thought that this might be fun!

Angies post got me to thinking then I had a good one myself this morning, even though I am still very early on.. As always I got out of the shower and wrapped my hair in a towel. Well this morning I was dressed, packed my lunch and walked out the front door and realized that my hair was STILL in the towel! lol oops! So glad that it is dark at 5am or the neighbors would be wondering!

I have lots of pregnancy brain moments- but it's still early in the morning...The most funny one I can remember is being in labor and finally agreeing to pain medication...I had been there for hours receiving poticin because my water broke and my contractions were trying to stall out early on...so I agree to IV meds probably 8 or 9 hours into it.  Within 5 minutes, I remember looking at my room full of visitors (people keeping me company til I got close)...and telling them to call the dentist...I couldn't feel a thing, my mouth was numb..then I said that and realized OMG my mouth is numb what if I can't breath...I completely freaked out...and all I can remember is trying to act normal and hide the fact that I was SO HIGH (never did drugs so I can only imagine) so I recall asking for the dentist, insisting I wasn't going to be able to breath, asking probably 50 times in hour or 2 if the baby was okay cause I couldn't feel a thing....apparently, when I started to feel something I elected a epidural.  I barely remember getting it, and insisted that they left me do it all a lone - my husband says he was there holding my hand..beats me?!  I also remember not hearing but suddenly thinking odd words- and I wanted to tell someone them, but like I said I didn't want to seem high- so I declared to my mother- I keep thinking strange words which I know aren't words and I am not going to tell you because I don't want you to worry.  Needless to say- no more IV meds for me.  The good news was I didn't feel much and it made time past and I don't remember it much & I learned I probably would be a really ****ty drug addict.
Liz- just wait till the baby is here- you wont care what you look like when you remember you left something in the car and NEED it.  I think I have probably scared my neighbors lots.

This is so hilarious!!! You guys know I'm new to the Preggo list, so mine isn't from this quite, though maybe now that I can't remember a really important detail of the story...

Anyway, When I had my Gastric Bypass and was in my private room, my DH had gone home and I went to sleep when I went to sleep a sci-fi show was on I had never seen called 4400 (about people who disappeared and then came back later and the Gov. was trying to find them to "study" them or destroy them so they were running from the agents). I woke up a few hours later having to go to the bathroom and I'm not sure if I was still dreaming or hallucinating from the IV drugs but I was trying to call the nurse and she wouldn't come unhook my leg pumps and stuff so I could go and so I was saying oh, no, they found out I was one of the 4400 and they are not going to come until the agent comes to take me away. Then I started crying and the nurse did come in and I said, I'm not really one of them, I promise. She had no clue what I was talking about and told me I should try to rest some more. Boy is that morphine drip something!!!

I can't wait to read the responses!

When I turned 7 months pregnant or so I was going to the OB every 2 weeks - by 8 months I was going every week.  It was the same routine - go into the bathroom, grab a cup, write your name on it, pee in it and put it in the little hidey-hole in the wall so they could grab it out of the other side and dip their stick.

Well I would not go to the bathroom before leaving for the OB's office on purpose so I'd have enough to fill their cup.

One day at around 8 months I *really* had to go ! I went into the bathroom, got my cup, wrote my name and had trouble getting the cap back on the marker.  I rushed to the toilet and started peeing and then realized THE CUP WAS ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE ROOM !!!

I quickly tried to stop the urine flow and hobbled over to the other side of the room dribbling all the way.  I managed to save enough for them to dip their stick -- and I had to clean up their floor from my drippings !!  (Eeeeewwwww)

I was quite embarassed!

OH Gosh! I have a total pregnant moment. I was in the grocery store over by the juice. Picked up something and put it in 'my' cart... went about my business and was on the other side where the frozen food was. I saw this man following me. I was thinking - WTF does he want? Why is he following me. He approaches me and says "Is that your cart?" I was annoyed that he was 'following' me so w/o looking I snapped and said "uh, yes". He said... "are you sure?" I looked and saw stuff that wasn't mine... I took his cart... AND LEFT MINE OVER BY THE OJ WITH MY PURSE IN IT. I apologized several times and ran over and thank God, my purse was still there.

Such a duuh moment...
